Antonia de Winter, a Chartered Accountant, from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is leading on delivering a project to introduce the North West of England’s first hydrogen bus fleet. The bus fleet will be purchased by Merseytravel, the transport delivery arm of the Combined Authority, and operated by the region’s two largest bus operation companies, Stagecoach and Arriva.
Antonia has significant experience as a senior financial professional working for global business both in the UK and overseas. She joined the Combined Authority as Co Head of Investment, investing the Region’s devolved funding through the Authorities’ Strategic Investment Fund. Latterly she has taken on the role of Hydrogen Lead for the City Region and is working with internal and external colleagues from across the energy and low carbon arena to develop the region’s approach to delivering its first Hydrogen strategy which will be designed to help support the growth of the local hydrogen economy.
